Lady Gaga's new single, 'Applause', will be released early after the leak of her new single. Originally set for an August 19 release, "Applause" made its official debut on the radio on Monday afternoon.

Reportedly, Lady Gaga took matters into her own hands on Monday morning, after the leak and preponed the release. An announcement to this effect was made on Twitter.

The single is the first track off of Gaga's new album ARTPOP, scheduled to hit stores in November. It is already being touted as a bestseller.
