Nay-sayers may cry their lungs out, crying nepotism - but the industry fraternity is hardly bothered. Few big budget films that have signed newcomers in the lead; are all industry-progeny helmed! The latest to jump on the bandwagon is mast-mast girl, Raveena Tandon's daughter, Rasha Thadani.
Hailed by the media over a a year as good-looking and chip-of-the old-block (did Ravs squirm); Rasha gets an almost perfect launchpad with Abhishek Kapoor's Azaad. Touted as epic action adventure the film has Ajay Devgn's nephew Aaman Devgan makis his debut alongside Rasha.
Abishek Kapoor has launched many newcomers successfully in the past - the most famous being Sara Ali Khan, another star-daughter.
The fact that the makers are leaving no stones unturned to make this film a hit, can be gauged from the fact that Ajay and Raveena's pairing delivered many a hits in the mid-90's.
Bhaarat Bol News team spoke to a few youngsters from Delhi University and they were all of the view that Rasha seems to have it in her to be the next big thing.
Well, the fact of the film industry worldwide is, you are the big thing only when your film rakes in big moolah and Rasha will be no exception to this Industry rule. BBN team is sure that mama, Raveena, has already crossed her fingers for her baba, Rasha, to be a perfect fit in the industry.
