By entering & participating in #BNHAF Awards and Festival you put on record that you agree fully and irrevocably to the rules, terms & conditions mentioned herewith:
By using the #BNHAF Awards and Festival website https://www.bol-news.com/2013/04/bnhaf.html or/and submitting your film or/and entering #BNHAF Awards and festival - you unconditionally accept and agree to the Rules, Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of #BNHAF Awards and Festival.
1. SUBMISSION MATERIAL for screening MUST BE:
- Only .mp4 files accepted. Max file size 1 GB
- Submit film through WeTransfer link sent by email
- All films MUST BE 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio
- Target bitrate 12Mbps H.264 avc1 encoding max resolution 1920x1080 / 2048x1080 / 1600x1200
- .jpg or .png Poster (Must be vertical portrait layout @ minimum 72DPI and 3x4 ratio)
- Subtitles MUST BE burnt directly onto the film
2. The dates of the sub-editions are fixed. The date of Gala Edition held every year in December is emailed latest by November 20 every year.
3. If you want to submit the film directly to the festival, contact us on bnhafawards@gmail.com
4. No NUDITY in the film. Any NUDITY must be removed while entering the film at the festival.
5. Acceptance of your film into the festival does not guarantee award or prize.
6. The Submission fees of a film selected in any category is refundable ONLY IF the film is not selected. Though there are NO REFUNDS, if the film is DISQUALIFIED. For example many participants apply films in other languages in exclusive Sanskrit Language category - such films are disqualified.
7. Films in any language other than English must be subtitled in English
8. Photographers who wish to put together their still images as montages are eligible for submission.
9. Gifts from the sponsors of #BNHAF Awards and Festival gifted ONLY if the awardee attends the Gala Edition in person
10. If the awardee doesn’t attend Gala Edition in person, the gift is given to charity NGO's either 1. Rekha Vohraa Foundation or 2. Udayan Care
11. If an edition finds no worthwhile entry in one or/and more than one category, there will be no awards in those category for that edition.
12. Participation of MINOR(S) (participants under 18 years of age)
- The point of contact with minors is ONLY through third-party film-submission platforms. If a minor contacts #BNHAF directly by email or social media, #BNHAF specifically asks them to submit through a film-submission platform, as such, #BNHAF, the owners of #BNHAF or anyone associated with #BNHAF is indemnified, legally and/or by the law, in case the minor has failed to take parental consent and/or if the parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) fails to perform their duty towards their minor(s) children
- If a minor takes part in #BNHAF, the minor(s) automatically accepts and puts on-record to have all the requisite Parental Consent. #BNHAF, the owners of #BNHAF or anyone associated with #BNHAF is indemnified, if the minor has failed to take parental consent
- It is the responsibility of each parent to know what their children are up to
- It is also the responsibility of each parent to know the activity and the websites their minor children are browsing and using
- It is also the responsibility of each minor(s) to inform their parents about their activities and the way they use internet
- #BNHAF doesn't require a signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian
13. In all matters decision of #BNHAF Awards and Festival will be absolute and final.
14. Force Majeur Clause: Due to an unforeseen outcome, #BNHAF Awards and Festival reserves the right to cancel, postpone or move the event to a digital platform if necessary. Any fee paid is non-refundable.
