IFFI 2010 - Freida Pinto







Actress Freida Pinto was in IFFI to introduce her film directed by Woody Allen "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger".

The screening was very well received by the cine-astes. After the screening, the actress spoke to the media where she discussed various topics ranging from Bollywood to her relationship with actor Dev Patel. The actress started the media interaction by denying that she will not act in masala Bollywood movies, terming it as a mere rumour.

Freida said that she was always eager to work in Bollywood and believed Bollywood never treated women as mere dolls. The actress added that the media was eager to fill pages with gossip that would make an interesting copy.

Freida opined that the world must stop believing that Indian cinema is all about the proverbial Bollywood song and dance. About her relationship with Dev Patel, the actress said that they are going strong but faced the brunt of a long distance relationship as they are seldom together due to their careers.
