The ongoing edition of IFFI 2022 (International Film Festival of Goa, 2022) hosted the 16th edition of Film Bazaar announced its official selection of projects for its core segment, the Co-Production Market, to be held between November 20 – 24, 2022 in Goa.
Film Bazaar 2022 brings to forefront 20 film-projects that bring forth a pan-global narrative. These projects, chosen discerningly from 11 countries are an eclectic mix of stories in Bengali, English, French, Gondi, Hindi, Kashmiri, Malay, Marathi, Nepali, Spanish and Tamil.
The selected filmmakers will be pitching their projects to International and Indian producers, distributors, festival programmers, financiers, and sales agents at Open Pitch.
Ravinder Bhakar MD, NFDC issued an official statement:
“Co-Production Market has been and continues to be the most important segment of the Bazaar. The Market allows the international producers to understand the current trends in cinema from India and South Asia. We are enormously proud of this year’s selection that showcases some of the most diverse, inclusive and groundbreaking stories from Nepal, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, UK, USA and India.
