#BNHAF Awards and Festival 17th Edition - News Report

#BNHAF Awards and Festival 17th Edition concludes on March 30, 2024.


The 17th Edition of #bnhaf Awards and Festival partnered with Talent Ka Maha Utsav Pre-Season to screen cutting edge films with a societal significance and connect various issues that are of immediate concern to the society.

Films from Italy, US, France, Philippines, Vietnam, Chile, Argentina, Poland, Nigeria, Kenya, Australia and Japan were screened, other than films from India. 


Held in multi-city format in Nainital, Moradabad, Ghaziabad in India, the topic of the 17th Edition was Talent, Theatre, Creativity and Mental Health. Amit kumaR Agarwal, founder and artistic director said that this was with the idea to celebrate the World Theatre Day that coincided with the opening day of the 17th Edition on March 27, 2024.

Livia del Bianco, international model from Brazil, working in India said that mental health affects actors and models worldwide because it is a very demanding and high pressure job. She gave tips to all the attendees on how she kept her mental-health intact and became a winner in life. She lauded the song Sandbox sung by US based singer and owner of AMB band, Annie Minogue. Minogue won the #BNHAF Global Icon award in the 16th edition.

Rekha Vohraa of Rekhaa Vohraa Foundation said that talent and creativity go hand in hand for any individual to overcome mental health issues. Her NGO feeds 1000 strays daily in Delhi-NCR, she said just like humans, animals too suffer from mental-health issues. 

Manpreet Kaur of Whizz Communications said that she was part of mental health awareness feature-film made by Amit R Agarwal and she totally understands the importance of mental health to make this world a better place to live in. 

Vishnu Gtover of Natshaala said that creativity can work only if the mental health is good. A person has to be at peace to create anything.

Amit R Agarwal added further, saying creativity comes from clarity of thoughts and a sound mental health helps us achieve clarity of thoughts and vision, two pillars of creativity. Agarwal under Talent Ka Maha Utsav Pre-Season, also conducted a masterclass on various issues that affect mental-health in the creative-industry.

The 18th and 19th edition of #BNHAF awards and festival are scheduled in US and Europe in April and May.
