The biggest challenge any service industry faces worldwide is the deliverance of services that brings a smile on the face of any customer. This also helps in retaining the customer, which in today's eco-system is the biggest challenge for any organization.

Social Media has made everyone a critic; companies and conglomerates are finding is increasing difficult to enhance reputation in the consumer market.

In such a scenario, employees, have become the biggest asset for any company or conglomerate to enhance the reputation on social media. 

Vikas Singh is  one such person, the writer very recently met. Working as an Assistant Manager at the Enclam Lounge, New Delhi, Vikas is a role model of the way people working in the service industry ought to be!

The writer had a fast and as such wasn't eating anything in the lounge; this small thing caught the attention of Vikas, he queried with the writer, if everything was fine.

When the writer told him about his fast and strict fruit diet, he ensured that a fruit platter was served to the writer.

These small gestures are worth appreciating, because they go a long way in making the travel comfortable.

More so, they also highlight the humane aspect of the person in-charge, which is hugely laudable.
