Real fan or marketing strategy, this is one question that the entertainment media in India is fast seeking an answer to!

Chhaava, that is doing pretty well at the box-office, recently saw a fan arrive on horseback at one of the screenings in Nagpur; he also shouted slogans inside the theatre.

The film directed by Laxman Utekar is a biopic of Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal. A fan in Nagpur arrived in a theatre on a horse, dressed as Vicky Kaishal's character. He was even accompanied with other men playing dhols and chanting slogans as the end credits played out on screen.

In a video that is now viral on social media, the man was seen shouting ‘Jai Bhavani!’ slogans inside the theatre. He sat on the horse and was surrounded by a bunch of other men playing dhols. Several people who went to watch the film also joined in, chanting the same slogan and recorded the incident on their mobile phones.

This video has many in the media and the film-fraternity wondering, if this was a real fan or a clever marketing-strategy on the part of the film-producers.
