Rocco Darino, the man, comes across as a very knowledgeable, silent, calm - yet very efficient craftsman - crafting pizzas, breads, and other bakery products with equal care as his mother does.
The best part is, he always asks the customers - happy one at that - in case, they have any allergic reactions, if they have, he gives them options that can e best fit for them - if not, he serves them the very best of his eatbales.
Rocco also makes sure, if the customers want extra cheese, or anything to add on in their food - these finer details are what that make even the customers from Matera, or nearby towns throng this panificio.
For me, it is a perfect outing, till I am in Stigliano, because Rocco always asks me if I need an extra slice of cheese, this very ask, makes me and the other customers say cheese for the perfect memories - to put in in a technical manner - a perfect photo for the camera.
