Maverick film-maker from India, Amit R Agrwal, who got a deal to film in Italy at the Italian Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, headed back from Italy, after 3-months.

While Agrwal has been mentoring children and young adults worldwide; he is really looking at adding punch to k-drama, k-pop, "because my nephew is crazy about them. My Demon is his fave".

Very recently, he was invited to Korea Content Week organized by KOCCA at Hyatt Regency in New Delhi, India.

  • Agrwal met a lot of companies and hoped that an IP can created around the Indian-Korean characters.

Ted from a Korean company was quite bullish that with the industry finally picking up - there can be alliances - huge one at that - between Korea and India. Yin, hoped that she can develop a k-drama that can be as iconic as 'My Demon'.

The gist is in India Korean content is big and it will only be sometime before you have a full-fledged Indo-Korean film or webseries in true essence!
