Bollywood is abuzz with rumors that Salman Rushdie's celebrated novel Midnight's Children that is being made into a film by Deepa Mehta might see Kangna Ranaut enact the part of Emerald.
According to reports Mehta confessed that though there were choices for other characters, for Emerald, I saw only Kangna fi the bill.
If reports are to be believed Kangna's character, Emerald, is married to a pakistani politician observing the rise and fall of leaders and dreamers from the fringes.
