The talented Konkona Sen Sharma tied the knot on September 3, 2010 with her longtime boyfriend and fellow actor, Ranvir Shorey.
The couple reportedly had a live-in relationship for almost past two years, kept the wedding a hush-hush affair. Konkona and Ranvir avoided the media glare, but what foxed many industry insiders was that many Bollywood celebrities were not included in the guest list.
A few people who went said that the wedding ceremony was an interesting blend of Bengali and Punjabi traditions. Konkona looked resplendent in her grandmother’s traditional Bengali jewellery, which surely would have made her mother, eminent film-maker and actress, Aparna Sen proud.
Bollywood sources add that most industry folks were not invited even to the reception as Konkona has always maintained a low profile and has been always very particular about her privacy.
