#BNHAF Awards and Festival in it's 22nd Edition has launched #BNHAF Female Icons Award in association with "Talennt Ka Maha Utsav".
Amit kumaR Agarwal founder of Bhaarat Bol News vertical said that the idea is to celebrate females, that are unfortunately not celebrated in the plethora of awards that happen; particularly in Delhi-NCR, at the drop of the hat!
To ensure that awards are conferred on females that support social cause, Agarwal has limited the awards to 6 per edition.
Agarwal elaborated that the award honors females with substance, with a 'true-value' award that comes with definite set of deliverables. Ankeeta, a model and an entrepreneur said, "I was bored of awards that gave me usage / marketing rights of my pictures and videos taking the award. This is the biggest bluff any award can claim as a deliverable. Isn't it?"

Rekha Vohraa, one of the board members of #BNHAF Awards and Festival said, "come to think of it, I am part of many groups that spend obnoxious amounts of money in taking awards that are mere blink-a-miss. Amit is actually adding value to the profile by connecting #BNHAF Awards with causes integral to the PM's vision of Viksit Bharat 2047."
Agarwal said he wanted to launch this award on the 25th Anniversary of #BNHAF, "but just two days back, I was at a fashion event at The Grand, five to-six females across my social-circuit bumped into me and asked about #BNHAF Awards, "आप हमें कब अवार्ड दे रहे हो, हमने सोसाइटी के लिए ये किया है, I decided to honor their commitment towards society by creating a dedicated category for females."
Vohraa said, reason she asked Agarwal to put 'female' in the award is because, it is age agnostic - a female kid of 10 or 12 can take the award, as well as, a senior citizen of 82, too can take the award.
