As per reports, James Cameron who is currently working on Avatar 2, has recruited Josh Friedman, who created hit
series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, to work on the
screenplay. Though an official confirmation is yet to come.
The whole world is keenly awaiting the sequel to all time blockbuster Avatar. Reportedly, Friedman has a long-standing relationship with Fox; other than creating the series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles; he has also written a 'Locke & Key' pilot for the Fox network.
Industry insiders vouch that Friedman is a good choice to work on the screenplay of Avatar 2, as Cameron has entrusted the writer with his previously established
characters from Terminator, Sarah and John Connor and Friedman garnered good reviews as he expanded the "Terminator" mythology.
Avatar 2 is undoubtedly the most anticipated sequel in the
history of movies; as Avatar, the highest-grossing movie of all time, having amassed
nearly $2.8 billion worldwide, was loved by fans worldwide, some watching it even 50 times! Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are expected to return for Avatar 2, which is expected to hit theaters in 2015.
