- Today the quality of life has gone up for Indians across board - rich, poor, haves and have nots are all benefitting from the booming economy - India is; but the cost of this boom is quite heavy, happiness.
- The root cause for this block in happiness is the greed for more!
Happiness is a feeling that someone can feel in different ways or can be experienced in a number of ways; it’s a feeling of joy, well-being, or contentment.
Happiness is just opposite from all the negative emotions such as sadness, fear, and anger. Emotional happiness is more than meets the eye and a deep feeling that varies from one individual to another. And the main thing is that it isn’t defined by wealth, fame, or status; instead, it’s a feeling that comes from within naturally.
Happiness can be found in life’s small details, like for someone happiness is about achievement, while for others it comes from helping others, nurturing gratitude in daily life, being kind to others, staying physically active and building relationships with the community.
Happiness isn’t a goal or destination; it’s a perspective. There’s one important key that will keep you happy, and that is satisfaction and appreciating what you have rather than what you have. It highlights the positivity even during tough times. Being happy is not rocket science or difficult, but it’s all about our mindset.
It also helps in fostering strong, meaningful relationships, which create a feeling of connection and support that greatly contributes to our overall happiness and well-being. Self-improvement is also very important.
Psychologists have been increasingly citing that pursuing passions is very essential to bring in the happiness quotient and balance ones life with happiness.
At its core, true happiness arises from finding balance, showing kindness, being self-aware, and identifying what truly matters to us to cultivate a genuinely fulfilling life. Never depend your happiness on someone else’s approval or validation; it should be based on your own values. Follow your passion and stay true to yourself.
