Love. Is it dying?

  • The natural feeling called love

Singham Again, recently released bollywood blockbuster caught my eye. There was a whole sequence of 'situationship' and the parents are apparently comfortable. Made me think, is love dying?

Well, not quiet. Yes, the corruption in love has increased many fold, with one party only indulging because of ulterior motives, but love will remain; hopefully, fingers crossed.

Love is a feeling that nobody can describe because it’s a beautiful feeling that can only be felt. It should be natural, like the gentle breeze on a warm day or the warmth of sunlight breaking through the clouds.

In this modern society where people are more interested in casual scenes and fleeting connections or flings, there are many terms that I am also not aware of, so as I was saying, the essence of love seems to be overshadowed in this modern era where love became more of just for the sake of relationships to be accepted in this society or whatever. Seeing this, I feel very bad that people are spoiling the name of love.

Love should be respected, and it’s a source of support and understanding, though unfortunately it’s frequently marred by envy, control, and self-serving intentions or selfish desires. Love is rare, and finding the right person is even harder.

Nothing is perfect or flawless, not even love; it’s the imperfections that make it real and beautiful, so choose your partner wisely because they impact your life deeply, and most importantly, love yourself first.

This basic lesson of loving yourself, is the only way forward, if you want to be in true love.
