Will Ramayana be the first Indian film to do 2000crores + 2000 crores?

Nitesh Tiwari is one director to give consistent hits. He knows the audience pulse very well. He is brave to experiment as well, before Bawaal, he made a film with the title Chichore and got family-audiences in!

After the gross infamy that Adipurush brought to Indian cinema, it was naturally both scary and exciting for Nitesh Tiwari to continue with Ramayana. Now that the release date of the two-part epic is announced as Deepawali 2026 and Deepawali 2027, let's take a quick look on the film.

God Ram is one of the most revered Gods in India's history.
No, I won't use the term mythology, because this corrupted term mythology was hammered down over Indians, systematically, through a grossly violent and inhuman rule of 1200 years by terrorists and tyrants.

Nitesh got it right when he cast the most talented actor post-2000 Ranbir Kapoor in the lead - Ranbir has proven himself over time with a wide variety of roles - the films might be boring - but he held his own even in those boring films.

The few pictures that have made it on the social media, prove that Ranbir has the right mix of aura, peace and radiance, that is a must to play God Ram.

Yash, who perfected the anti-hero with KGF franchise is the perfect fit for Raavan - why?
The attitude mixed with arrogance that is required to play the demon-king was all too visible in KGF!

Sunny Deol has been cast as God Hanuman, now this is really tough act for Sunny, because Dara Singh has so well perfected God Hanuman in the TV serial Ramayan that you can't even imagine any other actor playing God Hanuman.

The perfect film will only be possible, if the songs are good. Hopefully, Nitesh won't get the old songs in new version, instead will make sure that new songs are such that old songs and hymns are played together with the newly created songs.

Having said that if the two Baahubali's can do 2100 crores plus, there is no doubt that Ramayan's two part together can do 4000 crores plus.
