- Bahubali Crown of Blood Opens 22nd Edition of #BNHAF Awards and Festival
#BNHAF Awards and Festival, the most reputed awards & festival in Northern India opens it’s 22nd Edition with the screening of #Bahubali Crown of Blood
Amit R Agrwal #BNHAF founder and artistic director said that when he started the festival, he had no clue that the biggest film-franchise from India will one day be playing at the festival.
“It is all the honest work and the fact that we not only screen films, but market indie-films as well that has got us here”, says Agrwal.
While 2023 saw #BNHAF conducting international editions as well; 22nd Edition onwards, each and every film is selected in #BNHAF and screened across six-editions for a calendar year. “The idea is to give each film max visibility. When we conducted editions in USA, France, Switzerland, Maldives, Italy, Canada, Indonesia, Philippines — one common grouse of all film-makers was that the film is screened once and forgotten, @ #BNHAF film-makers enter the film once and are relaxed as we screen the films 6-times across the year for maximum effect”.
Agrwal closed the 21st edition of #BNHAF in Maldives on the sidelines of MSPA Film Awards organized by legendary Maldivian Actor and Filmmaker, Mohammad Rasheed.
Agrwal said, "Big thanks to Rasheed bhai for inviting me as a jury to MSPA. It was only logical to conclude the 21st Edition of #BNHAF on a high by bestowing on Rasheed bhai, Lifetime Achievement Award of #BNHAF.
Agrwal also conducted a masterclass on cinema during MSPA opening ceremony and #BNHAF closing ceremony, “I shared my experience with the film-professionals. I shared in my master-class that each film is saleable. Whether a film is good or bad is hugely perspective, but whether the film has sold or not is definitely definitive. If aspirants accept this fact and understand it; they will see their career definitely taking-off”.
