However, the very severe second covid wave has sent all plans crashing. Media reports are rife that the numero uno of Bollywood, plans to release one of his films on August 15, may be as a gesture to mark the independence from Covid-19, hopefully. If buzz is to be believed, Bell Bottom, an espionage-thriller will release on Amazon Prime video this Independence Day. Though, another section is rife that Sooryavanshi will release if the cinemas open. Though, sources close to Akshay maintain that nothing is finalised as yet and the announcement will be made in due course of time, as Akshay is very busy at the moment helping Indians fight Covid-19.
