‘Gossip Girl’ star, Michelle Trachtenberg, dies at 39. Michelle who played Georgina Sparks in ‘Gossip Girl, is reported to have underwent a liver transplant recently.
Also know for her act in 'Buffy the Vampire' Slayer'; the cause of her death remains unknown. Sources told that Trachtenberg was found at One Columbus Place, a luxury apartment complex located on Central Park South, on Wednesday morning. It was also reported that she had recently undergone a liver transplant.
Born in New York City in 1985 to Michael Trachtenberg and Lana Trachtenberg, Michelle Trachtenberg was a child actress, landing the role of Nona on the popular series ‘The Adventures of Pete & Pete’ at 3 years of age.
Her pre-teenage roles included the title character in the 1996 film ‘Harriet the Spy.’ Trachtenberg went on to appear in films such as ‘EuroTrip,’ ‘Ice Princess,’ and ‘17 Again.’ She then gained widespread fame for her roles in ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Gossip Girl’; the two iconic TV series that catapulted her to international fame.
Michelle’s recent photos sparked health concerns among her fans. She faced trolling as well, with Michelle assertively shutting out the trollers.
Trachtenberg recently posted a photo, writing, “I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters.”
