After the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, 2025; while the world condemned it and Pakistan for its complicit role in funding and sponsoring the terrorist attack - there were a few countries that against all morals and all human-ethos, supported Pakistan's terrorist streak. One such country is Turkey. There is a growing demand in India to boycott Turkish Airlines.
Is it a justifiable demand; Bhaarat Bol News spoke to few Indians to have their views.
Rajesh Singh a frequent flier said that he has already boycotted flights from countries like Turkey and Azerbaijan. He said any country that backs a terrorist state is a no-go zone for him, as covertly these countries are supporting terrorism.
Sunil Kumar, who is in the business of travel and tourism industry said that he has already seen a fall of about 20% in the tickets of airlines like Turkish and Qatar. He said he is assuming that Indians that are aware of the ground realities have already started boycotting these airlines.
Manya Chibber, a wedding planner said, frankly it doesn't matter to her, but she feels countries ought to have a human perspective, before issuing statements.
Deepshikha Gutjar, a model and an actress said that she is already refraining from using Turkish and other such airlines, ever-since the Pulwama terrorist attack. I feel Turkish Airlines should be banned from India, altogether.
