By - Amit kumaR Agarwal

  • Bhaarat Bol News exclusively present the new talent that made heads turn at Milano September 2026 - Manco & Maryna

A dynamic balance of heritage celebration and creative reinvention was the hallmark of the Milan Fashion Week September 2026 edition that ran from September 22 to September 28.

Earlier this month, writer Amit kumaR Agarwal witnessed a few curtain-raisers - though work-commitments meant he couldn't attend in person this edition of Milano!

The Spring/Summer 2027 collections, Italy's premier luxury houses, expressive silhouettes, artisanal craftsmanship, pivotal shifts in creative leadership together with standout runway moments - lined up this September Edition that saw city-wide events.

Before we delve into the tried and the tested, here is what the future looks like! The CNMI Fashion Hub and The Apartment provided a dedicated, public platform to showcase up-and-coming designers breaking into the contemporary landscape. Fashion designer Manco Fan arrived at Milano Fashion Week with Maryna, her assistant.

Manco and Maryna, presented a new jewelry collection by MNXO FAN. With a distinctive creative vision and strong attention to detail, Manco brought her designs to life both as a designer and model.

Together with Maryna’s support, she excitedly introduced MNXO FAN to photographers, creatives and fashion lovers from around the world.

Earlier on September 22, the opening day, Prada centered its entire collection around structural variations of its iconic skirts, setting a highly focused, refined tone for the week. Diesel delivered one of the most talked-about shows of the week, serving as a high-energy, rock-inspired farewell presentation to its departing creative director, Glenn Martens. Gucci drew immense buzz with a star-studded front row and runway featuring supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, while Bottega Veneta closed out the weekend with a highly anticipated collection showcasing evolutionary tailoring under its third show by Mathieu Blazy. Giorgio Armani wrapped up the runway presentations on Sunday, demonstrating effortless elegance through fluid tailoring and timeless, sophisticated evening wear.

Beyond the private runway showcases, Milan transformed into an open-air fashion exhibit with several major public-facing events - arriving in Milan for the first time, Vogue World took over the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II on September 22. The event paid a sprawling, theatrical homage to century-spanning Italian craftsmanship, tracking fashion's evolution from the Renaissance to the Industrial Revolution and beyond.

The next edition of Milano Fashion week is scheduled to open on February 23, 2027 - and the experts opine, it is all set to open with a much louder bang!

WTM 2026 l Press Release

Released Through Amit Kumar Agarwal
  • China commits to ‘global gateway’ WTM London with largest-ever pavilion and extensive line-up of exhibitors

The China Pavilion at this year’s WTM London will be almost 22% bigger than last year, with the stand configured to combine live cultural experiences, destination discovery and high-value business networking across all the three days of the world’s most influential travel and tourism event, powered by RX Global.

The expanded footprint reflects the importance China places on rebuilding international tourism links through WTM London, while deepening cooperation with the UK and wider global travel trade.

This year, the China pavilion, hosted by the China National Tourist Office (CNTO) London and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of The People’s Republic of China, is almost 22% larger than last year, making it the biggest China pavilion ever at WTM London.

The pavilion has grown from around 400m² last year to 487.5m² this year, building on last year’s record footprint and reflecting the growing presence of China at the event.

The CNTO shared feedback from last year’s exhibitors, who said that more than half of the buyers and business contacts made at WTM London were from outside the UK, including the wider European market, India and the United States. The feedback highlights WTM London’s truly international reach, extending well beyond the UK and European markets to connect exhibitors with buyers and business contacts from around the world.

Tourism authorities and businesses from 14 different key destinations will be present this year: Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan, Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Qinghai. Joining them is Macao Special Administrative Region, making its debut within the China Pavilion.

Eight Chinese airlines, currently operating between the UK and mainland China and contributing to outbound and inbound tourism flows, will be present. The carriers are Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, Capital Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines and Juneyao Air.

Inbound tour operator CITS (China International Travel Services) has secured its own dedicated space within the pavilion. Similarly, Grand China MICE, which works not only with international businesses looking to host meetings and events in China but also with Chinese enterprises interesting in outbound business travel and commercial events, also has its own presence.

WTM London is established as a ‘global gateway’ for Chinese destinations and tourism businesses, according to the CNTO, and is instrumental in driving demand for Chinese inbound travel while supporting Chinese outbound. Inbound received a boost earlier this year with the introduction this February of 30-day visa-free entry to China for UK passport holders. The impact is immediate - between January and July, Beijing welcomed nearly 100,000 UK visitors, an increase of 53.1% on last year.

Data from 2025 showed that more than 130 delegates, exhibitors and buyers – the largest-ever contingent - representing 56 Chinese tourism businesses travelled to London for WTM London 2025. Executives connected with more than 3,000 travel trade and tourism-related organisations from over 100 countries, facilitating more than 5,000 one-to-one business meetings.

Zhang Li, Director, China National Tourist Office London, said: “Our investment in WTM London has been growing, and we expect 2026 to be even more successful for our exhibitors. We look forward to showcasing China as an inbound destination and highlighting the potential of its outbound market to senior buyers – the type of global gateway audience that WTM is uniquely capable of delivering, year in, year out.”

Chris Carter-Chapman, Exhibition Director, WTM London, concluded: “The line-up of exhibitors, plus a rolling programme of destination presentations, cultural showcases and interactive activities, means the China Pavilion is likely to be one of the busiest stands on the floor this year.

“We are working with CNTO to optimise their presence at this year’s event and to help promote China’s tourism industry to a truly international audience.”

Health, Lifestyle, Wellness Series l Status Symbol

By - Amit kumaR Agarwal

  • Since time immemorial, humans have lost sleep on one pressing issue - adhering to status symbol
  • The New Status Symbol: Buying More Time

The wealthy and the wellness-obsessed in 2026, have a rather peculiar status symbol - it isn't something you can wear or park in a driveway - no fancy yachts and no luxury watches.

The status symbol now is - more years of life, and the appearance of youth to go with!

What began as a fringe pursuit among Silicon Valley biohackers has ballooned into a sprawling industry, industry analysis pegs it at $30 billion!

No wonder, billionaires are racing to extend not just lifespan but the youthful look span!
Longevity, once confined to academic aging research, has rapidly evolved into one of the most commercially interesting premium lifestyle categories of the decade, driven by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and celebrity biohackers alike.

The obsession is no longer just a billionaire eccentricity. Longevity has become the defining framework for how health-conscious, image-conscious adults think about their everyday lives — reshaping diets, skincare routines, and daily habits alike.

Meanwhile, at the high end of the market, the price of admission keeps climbing - $20,000 for a longevity weekend - the price-tag!

Tech's ultra-wealthy have been the movement's most visible evangelists. Reportedly, a secretive biotech venture, backed by billionaire tech co-founders, is devoted to fighting aging at the molecular level.

While figures like Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have shown interest in longevity research as part of broader futuristic investment visions. Entrepreneur Bryan Johnson has become perhaps the most public face of the movement, having poured millions of dollars into an aggressive regimen of diets, supplements, and experimental therapies aimed at slowing or reversing his own aging.

Not everyone is cheering. Scientific American recently warned that Silicon Valley's biohacking culture amounts to a dangerous, largely unregulated experiment, complicating matters further is that some longevity influencers sell their own supplement brands, creating financial incentives that color their advice.

There are also concerns about who gets left behind. As one commentator put it, the movement promises democratization while often pricing itself like a private club. Harvard geneticist David Sinclair has pushed back on the inevitability of that divide, arguing such breakthroughs should eventually become as widely available and affordable as antibiotics or aspirin once the science scales.

Whether the longevity boom represents a genuine scientific frontier or an elaborate, expensive placebo remains hotly contested. What's clear is that for a growing slice of the population — from tech titans funding anti-aging biotech to ordinary consumers timing their meals to the sunrise — the pursuit of more time has become one of the defining preoccupations of the decade.
