The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has congratulated Neeru Dhanda on becoming the first Indian woman to win an individual Gold medal in the Trap event at the Asian Games in Japan
The PM lauded her exceptional accuracy and composure and said that her achievement has brought immense pride and glory to the nation.
PM expressed confidence that the historic feat would inspire many more young sportspersons to take up shooting and strive for the highest honours.
