Uttar Pradesh has largest MSME base in country: Yogi Adityanath

By: Amit kumaR Agarwal

Uttar Pradesh is fast becoming Uttam Pradesh under the visionary leadership of the chief minister, Yogi Adityanath. The opening ceremony of U.P. International Trade Show-2024 at the India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, bore testimony to this fact.

The glittering opening of the trade-show which also saw the address by the Indian Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar, proved once and for all that U.P’s stature is continually growing as a preferred destination for global trade and investments.

Heralding a new era in Uttar Pradesh: VP Jagdeep Dhankhar and CM Yogi Adityanath

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chief minister Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh has the largest Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) base in the country, emphasizing that this sector is the second-largest job creator after agriculture and has played a significant role in the state’s transformation into an industrial powerhouse. Addressing the gathering at the inaugural function, the CM said, “According to a survey, there are 96 lakh MSME units spread across 75 districts in the state”.

Yogi Adityanath highlighted the fact that “U.P. is on the path to becoming the growth engine of India’s economy. Through initiatives like the UPITS, we are not only showcasing our cultural and industrial strength but also inviting the world to be a part of our journey toward becoming a trillion-dollar economy”.

“When our government assumed office in Uttar Pradesh in 2017, several initiatives were launched to implement the vision of a self-reliant India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi,” the chief minister said.

Speaking about the international trade show, Adityanath said that as part of this effort, each of the state’s 75 districts identified a unique product under the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme. We expanded the campaign by focusing on promotion, branding, marketing, design, packaging, and technology. This initiative has since become a key driver of employment generation in Uttar Pradesh. He continued his speech saying that during the Covid-19 pandemic, workers from U.P employed in various states faced a significant livelihood crisis. While the nation was concerned about their situation, I was confident in U.P’s potential.

Adityanath said, “Even if four crore workers had returned (during Covid ) then also U.P would have accommodated them. As soon as workers arrived, the government conducted skill mapping for all 40 lakh workers, made their data accessible to every district, and facilitated job opportunities in relevant units”.

The CM said, “This is the same Uttar Pradesh which was seven years ago seen as an obstacle to the nation’s development. But today it is recognized as the growth engine driving India’s progress. The MSME sector plays a significant role in this transformation. No major industrial investment can advance without a strong MSME base”.

Speaking about the international trade show the CM said that this will provide an opportunity for Uttar Pradesh’s entrepreneurs to present their products on a global platform. He added that over the next five days, numerous programs, including G2G and G2B initiatives, will take place to highlight the state’s potential and establish it as a significant forum showcasing the state’s rich cultural and social diversity.

Emphasizing on the infrastructure created, the CM said, “Uttar Pradesh is recognized not only for its robust base of MSMEs but also for its excellent infrastructure. At present, six expressways are operational in the state with construction going on for seven more. There are 11 functioning airports, with work in progress on 10 others. Four international airports are currently operational and the state aims to complete the country’s largest Noida International Airport (Jewar) by the end of this year”.

Speaking on the Ganga Expressway (GE), the longest in the country; the CM said that GE is set to connect western and eastern Uttar Pradesh, with efforts underway to make it operational before the Prayagraj Mahakumbh in 2025.

He expressed confidence that the five-day trade show will effectively showcase state’s products, potential, cultural specialties, and social diversity on a global platform.

Kamran Akmal Ought To Question Pakistan Politicians Instead Of BCCI

By: Amit kumaR Agarwal

Reports suggest that former pakistani cricketer, Kamran Akmal, questioned BCCI about "why can't India tour Pakistan, when Australia can?"

The question in itself is very shameful for Kamran Akmal to ask. Pakistan has a long history of supporting terrorism in India. Just yesterday, August 28, 2024, Pakistan based terrorist Farhatullah Ghori called for mass-scale terrorism in India. What is Kamran Akmal's response to it. Will he urge pakistani authorities to arrest Farhatullah Ghori?

Has Kamran Akmal ever said that pakistani terrorism against India is grossly inhuman
  • Kashmir Genocide
  • Exodus of Kashmiri Hindus
  • Kargil
  • Kandahar Hijack
  • 26/11
  • Innumerable blasts
  • The list is endless
The list is endless. Ideally, earlier regimes should have stopped the sport-diplomacy right at the onset, but better late than never.

Kamran Akmal ought to start a campaign with fellow paki cricketers and paki citizens, "Stop Terrorism Against India"; once it stops, India will have no problems playing in Pakistan.

Khel Khel Mein l Not Just A Review l 3.5 on 5

By: Amit kumaR Agarwal

Khel Khel Mein is the official remake of 2016 Italian film Perfetti Sconosciuti

Have you ever given it a thought that how important has mobile become in our lives. Should I say it is the new 'third person' in any couples life!

No wonder world's largest selling English daily ran a front page news-report titled "Quick to wed, Quicker to split" the  surveys revealed that divorce cases in metros in India are rising by a whopping 70% per year!

Khel Khel Mein tells the story of seven friends, three couples (Akshay and Vaani, Taapsee and Ammy, Pragya and Aditya) and one single (Fardeen) that meet on Vaani's younger sister wedding in Rajasthan.

In the night, they decide to play a game, where each one's mobile will be public for all seven to see the calls, whatsapp, messages for a night.

How the equations are tested and what secrets are hidden from partners is what the film is about.

The plot is such that each and everyone who uses a mobile will identify with the characters.

The film has many sub-plots - family commitments, peer pressure, teenage angst, career manipulations, closet gay, fake show-offs, the 'male' honor - that all boils down to one huge plot - marriage in today's times.

It also touches on the huge responsibility of commitment that today's generation is unsure about. Will marriage, as an institution, cease to exist?

All the actors perform well, but hang on why is Pragya Jaiswal credits read INTRODUCING, wasn't she introduced way back in 2014 film Titoo MBA?

Akshay Kumar is the soul of the film. He is the guru of comedy, but he is a master in emotional scenes too! Be it counselling his teenage daughter or talking about the institution of marriage in the climax - you can't fathom any other actor playing Rishabh.

Mudassar Aziz has handled the very complex film very well, balancing the film with comedy all through it's running time.

A word of caution though, the subject and the comedy is such that it will appeal to educated middle-class and up; so if you have a massy taste, this one might not just fit your appetite. Others can enjoy this well made entertainer.

Stree 2 l Not Just A Review l 2.5 on 5

By: Amit kumaR Agarwal

A great trailer and taking a blockbuster opening doesn't necessarily mean that the film will connect with the audiences; it simply means that the first film connected so well that the legacy continues.

Stree worked because the concept was novel, the script injected humor very well, the vulnerability of the male protagonist connected with the audiences and the horror-romcom genre mixed potently. These very things go against Stree 2, as the screenplay seems to be merely a cut-paste job of the previous film.

The film opens with Stree returning from the town because she sees her statue with the line "Protect Us"; however as she leaves, a new force is unleashed, a headless man, slayer of Stree. Unlike Stree, he abducts women.

It is up to the protagonists played by Pankaj, Rajkumar, Aparshakti and Abhishek to free the town of the curse with the help of Shraddha.

The biggest problem of the film is that the entire film is made on the same template of screenplay with which Stree was written - even the scenes are the same. It gives a feeling of déjà vu.

While in Stree the entire audience was laughing, here it was only a handful of audiences.

After the cult Stree and Bala, director Amar Kaushik made a below-average fare, Bhediya, if Stree 2 was a stand-alone film, it would have performed below-average as well; but the franchise value got it a blockbuster opening.

If you are looking at a Stree kind of a high, you will be hugely disappointed, majorly because of the script. Since Stree, Bhediya, Munjya and now probably a vampire in Bhediya 2, is a horror universe now - it is time Amar Kaushik gets the scripts right, else it takes just a film or two for the entire universe to fizzle out.
