Lara Dutta is set to tie the knot with Mahesh Bhupathi, ending a long speculation about their relationship.
Reportedly, Lara got engaged to Mahesh last week in New York. The couple has been in New York, since August for the US Open and Davis cup. Bhupathi confirmed the news by tweeting, 'Lara and I got engaged in NY last week. So, it’s official now.
Reportedly, Lara and Mahesh met each other because Lara was a client of Bhupathi's celebrity management company. It may be recalled that Lara Dutta came out of a long live-in relationship with model turned actor Kelly Dorjee. Mahesh Bhupathi's marriage to former model Shveta Jaishankar was going through a rough patch. Shveta later accused them of cheating her as they were seen together even before her divorce with Bhupathi came through.
