Monday saw Delhi's air quality worsen, as the air quality index (AQI) dropped to 347. This placed the city in the "very poor" category.

It may be recalled that the AQI reading on Sunday was at 334 in Delhi.

Reportedly, Monday also saw Delhi’s maximum temperature reach 31 degrees Celsius, slightly above the seasonal average. The minimum temperature was 23 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees above normal.
