In spite of Dabangg’s super-success, the industry-insiders say that Eros is still mulling over acquiring Salman Khan’s next film Kick; which the producer Sajid Nadiadwala is offering for a whopping 75 crore.
A source reveals that in spite of the success the reason Eros is in two minds to acquire the film is because of the huge losses Eros suffered on Salman’s earlier film, Veer.
A prominent distributor said that it is the package that sells and not Salman Khan because if that was the case Salman wouldn’t have given flops after Wanted. It may be recalled that Main Aur Mrs. Khanna and Veer which released after wanted were both flops.
Let’s hope Kick kicks up yet another hit for Salman Khan, which co-incidentally is scheduled to open in 2011 on Eid.
