Grumento Nova is a town in Italy, akin to what Nainital, Ranikhet, used to be till mid-80's.
Surrounded by scenic beauty and far away from the pollution of big cities like Rome, the village is a perfect getaway for people looking to rejuvenate in the nature at it's best.
The team very recently was in Grumento Nova; the first coffee they had was at Il Pappafico, a cafe overlooking the beautiful valley and a perfect mix of interior-exterior comfort.
While the food was quite nice and services by the younger staff. Sharon and the owner, Miriam very good; the older staff including Alessandro or Alex, as they called him, also the chef, ought to get a thorough training in hospitality.
Alessandro was obnoxiously rude and was very unwelcoming. It was obvious he has issues regarding anger and his mental health
Hope next time we get to Il Papapfico, this chap has learned the basics of courtesy and hospitality.
